The Tampa Bay Beer Week Inc. Board of Directors runs all operations, planning, and promotion for Tampa Bay Beer Week. Our bylaws dictate membership class, membership numbers, term limits, and specific responsibilities for each position. The board consists of volunteers from breweries, distributors, retailers, as well as general beer enthusiasts.
The board has several open positions. May 20th, we shared a link event with information on how to register yourself or someone you know for consideration. Please note that these positions, unless otherwise noted, are a one year commitment. The board meets in person once a month, but with current guidelines we will more than likely rely on video calls. These meetings are mandatory.
Once we receive notice of interest, you will be nominated by an existing board member. You will be contacted and given a Zoom meeting link. An Election Meeting Zoom call will be held on June 3rd at 6pm and will be broadcast live on Facebook. The Officers will deliberate based on class needs and merit after the Election Meeting Zoom call. Those elected will then be contacted in person before sharing with the public later that evening. Please be available for a phone call once the Zoom call ends.
If you cannot commit to an open position, but still want to be a part of TBBW, please still reach out. There are a number of sub-committees that operate under the board that do not require as high a level of commitment. We welcome anyone who wants to take part!
