Join us at Indie on Saturday, March 14, 2026, for our annual “Halfway to Oktoberfest” parade, festbier keg tapping and celebration!

The Suwannee Avenue Marching Band will kick things off promptly at 5 PM, leading a parade from Hillsborough High School (Wilder Ave/Central Ave) to The Independent. We’ll get right into a ceremonial tapping and complimentary toast of Weihenstephaner Festbier, and the party will continue with live music, German food and merriment!

We will be tapping classic German favorites from Weihenstephan, Hofbräu, Benediktiner and more! And our kitchen will be offering Oktoberfest food specials to solidify the Oktoberfest experience!

Break out those Dirndls and Lederhosen and join the (Halfway to) Oktoberfest Fun!
