The rustic and ancient corn beer, known as Chicha de Jora, was once a sacred drink of the Incas. It is still widely consumed in the Andean highlands and home brewed by the locals.
Today, with our good friends from Motorworks Brewing, Mastry’s has kept up with tradition, with a post modern approach, by using bloody butcher corn, along with mixed fermentation, to recreate this sacred beer, while adding our own twist of re fermentation on roasted peaches.
Machu Peachu is funky, sweet and tart. With soft flavors and aroma from the peaches, and sourness brought on from fermentation, this beer is sure to delight the palate.
